RINGETTE PLAYERS
WE HAVE A PROGRAM FOR YOU!
At Sport Science, we often say "Off-Season is Gain Season". That's meant to be a call to action for all of our athletes and families because it is the best time to build the physical qualities you need for next year. The work that athletes put in during their off-season pays major dividends down the road.
The plan is the run the ringette program alongside with summer hockey program. Not as one big group but as a separate group operating on the same timelines and framework. We'll tap into the skating based programming and then break away for Ringette specific elements.

SPORT SCIENCE FAQ'S
SPORT SCIENCE TEAM TRAINING FAQ'S
What sports do you specialize in?
This is a fair question. Historically, many local gyms have marketed their team training as sport-specific. Our enhanced approach differs ...
Our emphasis is on sound sport science, leveraging academic training and current research to build programs that maximize performance across all sports. By working collaboratively with exercise physiologists, kinesiologists, and strength & conditioning specialists, we analyze the true physical demands of each sport — not just how it looks on the surface.
From there, we design training programs that develop the underlying qualities that matter most: strength, speed, power, resilience, and movement efficiency — providing the greatest possible advantage on the field, court, ice, or mat.
That said, we have extensive experience working in professional hockey, soccer, and basketball, as well as with varsity teams across multiple sports and individual athletes ranging from figure skaters and wrestlers to Muay Thai fighters.
We’re always happy to discuss your sport and how we would tailor a program based on age, stage of development, and competitive level.

Do I have to sign up my whole team?
We are happy to work with groups from as small as 4 to a large as 18-20. In saying that, the pricing, planning and design of the program will depend on the size and experience of your group. In the case of younger and larger groups, we choose to allocated additional coaches to ensure quality coaching and delivery can be achieved. So, do you need a whole team to book training? No, you can sign up with a small group of friends. We will cater your schedule and program to fit within the demands of your team and sport.

Are your team training programs individualized?
Short Answer ... Yes
Long Answer ...
- We leverage testing technologies and movement screening to identify strengths and weaknesses for each of our team training athletes. Following testing, the athletes are grouped based on identified needs. The lead strength coach will cluster the athletes by need and modify programming to most directly target the deficit areas and build better athletes.
We’re always happy to discuss your sport and how we would tailor a program based on age, stage of development, and competitive level.

Can Sport Science train our team in our facility?
While we have built a state of the art training facilities in Nepean and Orleans, when the timing and scheduling makes sense, our coaches are happy to head to your gym and work with your athletes in your space. Our coordinator will happily explore the viability of an arrangement like this.
